Feather Accent Basket

This delightful basket is handwoven by women living in rural Uganda, Africa. The basket is tightly woven using natural materials including banana leaves and raffia fibers.  Handwoven by the disadvantaged artisans including youth, disabled and widows who belong to a Ugandan owned Fair Trade cooperative.  

 The basket is approximately 16" in diameter and 4" deep and has a loop for hanging. This basket can be used as a fruit or bread bowl, also a great accent piece.
