Green Drinks Charleston organized locally in 2006 and are proud to be the first chapter in the state.

Charleston Green Business Network Event - Jan 27th.

Green DrinkI will be attending Charleston's first Green Business Networking event of 2009. I have been not making it a priority for too long! The event is on January 27th from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm on the second floor of the Tate Center (enter through the Beatty Center, 5 Liberty Street). While networking there will be brainstorming sheets available around the Tate Center for collecting ideas on how businesses can be more green.

With the loss of biodiversity, we also loose varieties of food sources that are each unique in composition and nutrition. The Local First movement here and around the world has an important role to play in protecting local crop varieties.
